Automotive Vehicle Technician, required for our clients Vehicle Dealership in Chichester!

Our Client a Multi-Site Dealership group with a larger presence within East & West Sussex covering a range of established automotive brands, are currently seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician.
 
This role would suit anyone with automotive experience, NVQ level 2 or 3 in motor vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent. Whether recently qualified or time-served.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client
  • Carrying out vehicle services and repairs of cars in accordance with brand technical standards.
  • Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
  • Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
  • Providing support and mentoring to less experienced colleagues ensuring they are trained and up to date in their skills and knowledge of processes and repairs.
  • Share knowledge and expertise.
  • Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others
What our Client expects of their Vehicle Technicians
  • Hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.
  • Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
  • Previous work experience in a franchise dealership
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering first class customer service.
  • Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
