Are you currently working as a Workshop Controller and looking for a new opportunity? Or are you a qualified Technician looking to make the progression to come off the tools? Are you in commutable distance of Edinburgh?

I am currently working a client of mine who is looking for someone who is confident to lead a team of professional Technicians and Apprentices within a workshop environment for their Commercial Franchise located in Edinburgh.

What is needed as a Workshop Controller:
  • Experience working in a workshop environment.
  • Ideally someone who is a level 3 qualified Technician.
  • Previous experience leading teams – Highly beneficial
  • Able to multitask jobs and work loads.
  • Can allocate jobs according to skillset
  • Able to help develop and train junior and apprentice staff.
  • Can manage overtime and purchases.
  • Have a fantastic Customer Service
  • Able to provide appraisals for employees.
  • Can provide reports for senior management when needed.
What is on offer for a Workshop Controller:
  • Commercial Franchise Dealer
  • Edinburgh region
  • Basic Salary up to £35,000
  • Achievable earnings of £40,000
  • 42 hour working week.
  • Monday – Friday. Weekends on a rota.
