Vehicle Technician needed in Coventry 
  • Between £32,000 to £45,000 basic salary depending on experience plus up to £3,000 additional annual bonus
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturday 8:30am-1:00pm (41.5 hours per week)
  • Opportunity to work with a premium main dealership
My Client, a premium main dealership, is looking for a vehicle technician to join their ever growing team. They are a leading main dealer group with great benefits.

What's in it for you? For your hard work as a Vehicle Technician our client is offering:
  • Basic salary between £32,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
  • On-target bonus earnings of up to £3,000 per annum.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota (41.5 hours per week)
Roles and responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out routine vehicle service and maintenance, inspecting components for wear and tear and documenting all findings. You will also test potentially faulty parts, diagnosing any issues and resolving faults.
  • Supporting the internal departments in the preparation and maintenance of new cars, used cars or loan vehicles.
  • Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge. Providing the training you need to progress your career further, in one of our industry leading workshops with the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious vehicle brands.
What's required from you as a Vehicle Technician:
  • IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Strong experience working within a workshop environment
  • Extensive knowledge in vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
  • Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Committed individual and a good team player
  • Ability to produce high-quality work in a busy dealership environment
  • Motivated to work towards team targets
  • Candidates with an MOT licence, experience in hybrid vehicle technology, and experience with VAG vehicles preferred but not essential
